As a Notary Public, the services I provide allow me to get to know my clients on a professional and personal level.
I was born and raised in Burnaby and attended elementary school, high school and university in the same city. As the eldest of four, I had the privilege of paving the road for my siblings which was not an easy task but it had its perks! My days in school kept me busy with studying, playing sports, reading and community work. I graduated from Simon Fraser University at age 22 with the intention of becoming a teacher. Instead, with the support of my family, friends and community, I ran for School Board Trustee in Burnaby in the Fall of 2002. Unfortunately, I was not elected but gained some invaluable experience which helped shape who I am today.
Outside of work, I partake in community events and serve as Vice-President for the Burnaby Multiculturalism Society. I live in Burnaby with my husband of eight years and we enjoy traveling, bike riding, reading and spending time with our family and friends.
My drive and ambition to be a successful entrepreneur led me to pursue a career in the Insurance industry. My six years in the Insurance industry provided me some great experience and knowledge. The next chapter in my life led me to works towards becoming a Notary Public. In 2009, I attended Simon Fraser University to earn my Masters in Applied Legal Studies. I was commissioned as a Notary Public on May 5th, 2011.
My promise is to meet the diverse needs of my clients and community. I am a strong believer of informing, educating and helping my clients make decisions which are in their best interest. Most importantly, I will always do my best to ensure that I perform my duties in a professional and ethical manner.
I am currently working from my office in Surrey while my office in South Burnaby is under construction. Feel free to contact me for your real estate, notarial and estate planning needs. I look forward to meeting you.
